Here are some shots of a carousel I painted in 2004.   95% of the work was done free-hand... some of the scroll work and graphics I cut on a vinyl plotter.  It's my custom to sign my work, hidden in the artwork itself, as seen in the last picture.

Below are horses off an antique carousel I painted in the Spring of 2005.  This was the second time I painted these same horses...the first time was in the late 80s. After almost 20 years, they were sanded and primed, as seen in the bottom row.  They were then ready for a new look.

This is "Eagle", whom I painted for a private collector. (He wasn't quite finished when this shot was taken).

The "Fear Factory" funhouse.  I think the part I enjoyed most on this was putting the dozens of hidden faces in the "stucco". Other details include the faces of friends and co-workers (including the artist) and, for all the Disney fans, a "hidden Mickey" - which is found in a lot of my work.

The reflective paint on the eyes made for a nice effect. My signature

In the Spring of 2007 Mirage Entertainment hired me to turn this dive shack into a pirate ship for an Indiana amusement park.  With the help of my friends Phil and Dan, we did this one and another at Great Escape in NY.  It wasn't easy, but we did it in about a month.

Another funhouse.  May 2008
